Rafa Nadal achieves record 9th French Open Title

Though the odds on favorite for Rafa to win the French Open it was definitely not a sure thing as Djokovic looked in impervious form in their previous matches and in his matches approaching a final.  An upset looked completely possible.

However even with Djokovic ahead in strategy in the first set, it was Nadal who would figure out a way to win as these two champions and gladiators battled it out.
