Nadal wins French Open Semi-Final defeating superman Djokovic in dramarama 5 sets 5 hours

Another epic showdown between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal with Rafa coming out on top.  After over 5 hours of play these two champions fought with everything they had left asking each other who was more fit, who had more left in the tank, who could take the grueling punishment of 5 hours of baseline battering.  With no tie break left in the 5th set, it was an John Isner worthy endurance marathon of focus and stamina.  Surprisingly neither play was close to giving up or requiring medical treatment in the end.  Both players looked eager to win and unable to give up.

Head to head Rafa leads 19-15 and he has a telling 12-3 record on clay against the Serb, but the record on clay gets to a 3-3 draw during the last 2 years and Nole won the last one in Monte-Carlo (but Rafa won the last one in Paris in last year’s final). Now Nadal is 20-15 and 13-3 on clay.
